The day winds down, and you start to think about getting ready for bed. Sometimes, though, your mind keeps racing, and that peaceful drift into sleep feels miles away. It’s a common thing, isn’t it? We’ve all been there, staring at the ceiling, replaying the day or worrying about tomorrow. But there are simple ways to help your body and mind let go, to consciously shift gears from the busyness of the day to quiet rest. One practice that’s become a real help for me, and I think it could be for you too, is the simple body scan.
